The Solent Waves archive
We have scanned every paper copy of Solent Waves that we have up to October 2013. After this date the original pdf files are avalable to us so they have been included in this archive. The scanned issues had been printed in blue, so the scan gives us a greyscale copy rather than a black and white one. Particularly for the earlier copies, the paper has deteriorated somewhat, and the discoloration has led to some correction being necessary before saving. The scanned images have not been OCRed as the time necessary to correct the resulting text would have been excessive. We believe most of the copies are readable, but if you come across one which is particularly poor then please tell the Editor and we'll rescan it to see whether it is possible to improve the readability.
The numbers given in the tables below are the issue numbers. These are contiguous, even though in places the dates of the copies are not. Only very rarely have there been January or August issues of Solent Waves. The archive is not indexed or searchable: sorry.
Please send any corrections or other information to the Editor.
